Hairstyling in Texas was a far departure from the fine-haired northern European settlements in Wisconsin where BeverlyD grew up. That contrast of silky fine hair in the north to the frizzled thick hair found in a variety of cultures in Texas (plus high humidity) is the worst possible scenario for an appealing hairstyle or look.

That is, until BeverlyD studied plant and food materials and incorporated them into her hair care regime.  Her curiosity with the structure of the hair strand, her knowledge of hair, and years of work as a hairdresser, hair colorist and hair cutter contributes to her growing expertise on hair health, hair volume, and shiny sleek locks.
